{ PHOTOSHOP FRIDAY }

This was just a simple shot I took of my daughter sitting in our office. Good window light coming in. Nothing fancy, in fact the backdrop of the office chair is ugly. But if you get creative (the brush tool is what I used), you can manipulate your backgrounds to blend and be more pleasing.

Couldn’t decide between color or B&W!

Dustee’s groomals with a horse coming up next! Keep your eye out because they are fantastic!!

WOW! Do you use Photoshop lightroom or something else?

Hello! That is such a good idea to use a brush, did you just use it to blend the colors?

Absolutely colour…but I love colour! The black and white is also good but can almost never beat colour! :O))

Michelle, I used the brush tool and sampled the color of the surrounding are and then "spray painted some of the color on. I may have used the clone tool a little too to help blend it (so that it looks more like a backdrop than a chair. Becky, I have heard that scott Kelby has some fantastic books on photoshop. I used to have an online subscription to his training and tutorials. Also I took a couple of community classes on PS and from there just obsessively practiced…until the wee late hours!!I almost always pick color. But for some reason, on this pick, I think I like the B&W a little better!
