{ PHOTOSHOP FRIDAY }

I am really close to posting this family session on my blog, so I thought I would hurry and use this picture for my Photoshop Friday! If you missed last weeks picture, you can see it and learn about what I’m doing HERE. Or you can just look for Photoshop Friday in my archives. Isn’t she a beauty! So so easy to photograph…and such a great big sister!

*TIP* I love to add lots of deep rich shadows to many of my pictures. Of coarse with photoshop there are always like 100 ways to accomplish the same thing. But I am a huge fan of levels. Always the big debate between curves and levels, like Ford and Chevy! I personally LOVE me some levels!!!

Andee, I was at the mill a few weeks ago and asked how much that exact chair was! $45 isn't bad, but there are million things there that I want!GREAT photo! Loving the richness you brought to it. You are awesome!

I sooo wish I could afford to have you mentor my lack of photoshop skills! I love love the deep rich color and don't know how to get it.Hmmmm maybe someday……

SO glad you're doing this! More people need to know what it takes to really get a picture to "that place"! This is a rich beautiful edit!

LOVE IT-could you please expand on the levels for just a few minutes? Do you do one level and slide the "dark" one darker…..then do another level and slide the "light" one lighter…..then do another one for the middle slider? OR?

When I use levels to add shadows I do slide from left to right adding blacks/darks. But make sure you do it on a layer and use a mask and paint in only what you want. Play with the opacity as well. I won't be going into to much detail on my Photoshop Friday or giving step by step instructions. hello, i have just been looking / reading your blog, you mention mentoring your skills of i presume photoshop, do you charge or are you happy to help people to expand on there skills, i would love to learn to edit like your end photos
