This photograph was taken after the sun had gone down!! I am in love with my 85mm 1.4 lens and the light gathering capabilities it has. The ISO on the D700 is very impressive and made it possible for me to be taking pictures that looked as though it was 4:00 in the afternoon as opposed to 9:00 at night! Plus the 85mm gets superb bokeh and creamy tones that are to die for!! I highly reccomend this lens if you can pick one up!! It’s been a favorite of mine, perfect for portraits!! Photoshop allowed me to warm it up, sharpen it up, add richness, and lighten areas that needed to be boosted a bit. Photoshop is an amazing and powerful tool!! It makes or breaks ALL of my photos. But that is because I prefer a very processed look and could never achieve what I do without it!
