{ PHOTOSHOP FRIDAY }

So I’m a day late!  I thought I would post the before and after of this photo because I had such a huge response to it on facebook!  First let me give you the specs of this photograph.

1.6 aperture

1/400th shutter speed

400 ISO

Auto white balance

I took this shot just a few minutes before the sun went down.  Then I did the rest of this photo session 20-30  minutes after the sun was completely gone.  There is a whole article in the works about that coming soon!  Can you see the color in this photo?  No, not the after shot, I’m referring to the BEFORE shot.  You have to see the color.  I am finding that just as important as it is to “see the light”, you must also “see the color”.  If you look at the before shot you might not see it…but I do.  I knew that there was the potential to have amazing color in this photograph.  No need for fancy locations.  This was taken down by a pond by my house.  Just get out and shoot anywhere, see the light, but also see the color!

Love! I’ve been trying to recognize this as well…especially right now with everything dead. You need as much color as you can get….even if it’s in the yellows on tree bark, reds in dead leaves, etc!
