{ PHOTOSHOP FRIDAY }

OK, so I will be the first person to admit that I don’t always get the perfect exposure on every shot. Wish it happened 100% of the time, but it just doesn’t. Maybe some of you out there can relate to that!! Often I come away really liking a picture from a session that may have been a little too dim or a little too bright. As long as the detail hasn’t been completely lost through an extreme over exposure or super heavy on the shadows, there is still hope!! For me it is very easy to fix up a picture that is just a little on the dim side. I know I’ve said it before….but levels people!!!! Love my LEVELS! I guess it’s just a preference thing. Some photographers really like curves. For some reason I just feel like I have so much more control over levels. But hey, that’s just me!! Also I used the liquify tool to giver just a slight bit more of a smile!! Play around, see what you come up with!

Happy weekend!

Try shooting cloudy white balance in this light scenario. It will give you a much warmer skin tone than auto white banance gives and save you some time in post processing. Love your blog! Jason

I've tried shooting in the cloudy white balance before and I personally think it makes my pictures look to orange. I would rather warm them up in PS later, but thanks for the tip Jason, this may work well for others who have tried it and had success! One way that I have had success warming up a picture in camera is shooting in Kelvin. Just have to remember to take my camera off auto and switch over to Kelvin!
